Join the innovative Renal and Transplant Unit at Westmead Hospital, a national leader in islet transplantation, dedicated to groundbreaking research and patient care. Lead Australia's National Islet Transplant Consortium clinical activities. Collaborate with expert transplant coordinators, physicians, and researchers. Advance clinical studies and data analysis to drive transplant innovations. Educate patients, carers, and staff on cutting-edge transplant practices. Essential Criteria :
Registration : Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Selection Criteria :
At least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration nursing experience, with at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in the specialty field. Postgraduate qualifications relevant to the specialty. Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and improved healthcare outcomes, with appropriate computer and research skills. Proven excellent interpersonal, communication, and teaching skills. Ability to provide education and counselling for patients and families potentially receiving islet transplant. Requisition ID : REQ543750
