Client Director

The Role
The role of the Client Director is to be a key point of contact for our clients and to develop strong communication recommendations across all channels, paid, owned, and earned. Responsible for driving and leading a successful client relationship and a results-driven team. Bringing together the right people to deliver the highest quality of outputs for your client, end to end, ensuring deliverables are grounded in client priorities.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Proven capability in managing others and highly collaborative.
Passion for media and marketing.
Up-to-date media landscape knowledge (confidently able to articulate macroeconomic and consumer trends and forecast challenges/opportunities for clients).
Excellent communicator with clear written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the patience to examine detail and create solutions.
Results-driven. Passionate about delivering business results for clients, with the ability to identify and clearly articulate what's working and why.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
In 3 months:
Established collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders and internal reports.
A strong understanding of and can clearly articulate the agency and group proposition, core client processes, and our way of working.
Immersed yourself in the team with an understanding of the status of all active and upcoming campaigns.
In 6 months:
Demonstrated your ability to deliver on all aspects of the role in an efficient, effective, and proactive way.
Strengthened your key stakeholder relationships to deliver great teamwork consistently.
In 12 months:
Taking on greater ownership of the role – responsibility and volume.
Building strong relationships with clients, representing the Wavemaker team appropriately and ensuring that campaigns are delivered to the highest quality.
Elevating your impact and influence within the business, with demonstrable benefits for the agency and our clients.
