Location: Canberra, Barton Contract Duration: 12 + 12 + 12 months (Baseline security clearance required) Technologies: SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, SCCM, Certificates, and Identity and access About the role Our client, a Federal Government entity focused on intelligence, is seeking System Administrators.
This role entails a variety of responsibilities, such as system design and administration, project support, technical assistance, and contributing to the improvement and maintenance of systems.
A minimum of five years performing a similar role is required.
Duties - System Administrators Assume a technical lead role for a subset of ICT services and capabilities.
Provide technical support, advice, and assistance to staff and partners, with a particular focus on technically complex issues.
Maintain the ICT environments, including managing system upgrades, updates, patching, capacity and health monitoring, backup systems assurance, and documentation.
Skills / Experience Experience with Linux Redhat Enterprise support and VMWare ESXi technologies.
Infrastructure as Code experience, including Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell.
Experience with Microsoft 365 Services (Productivity / Collaboration and Security primarily) and Microsoft Azure.
