Join our Health and Social Policy Branch at Ministry of Health for an exciting ongoing employment opportunity and help shape the future of health in New South Wales!
Be a driving force in leading the development and implementation of strategic policy frameworks that shape the provision of child and family health services across NSW. You will be joining a passionate team that values collaboration and openness. This role will be located in St Leonards.
About this role
The Director, Child and Family Health provides professional and organisational leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic policy frameworks and responses which enable the achievement of NSW Health's planned outcomes, and alignment with broader Government objectives. The role is responsible for providing strategic leadership on services, policies and models for children and their parents / carers with a focus on children aged 0 to 5 years within the community.
This is an ongoing, full time, Band 1, Public Service senior executive (PSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $217,997 to $242,100 per annum will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated relevant, professional experience in leading and developing policy and or service delivery in the area of child and family health. Demonstrated experience in the delivery of interagency collaborative policy initiatives in a health environment (or similar industry). Well-developed leadership skills, a strategic orientation and substantial management experience at a senior level. Applying for this Role
