Position Overview : Cerclos, a pioneer in sustainability technology for the built environment, is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to drive its next growth phase. As CEO, you will oversee all aspects of the business, aligning technology and business strategies to scale the company's SaaS solutions and commercialise its innovation in target industries. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in B2B SaaS, a passion for sustainability, and ideally, experience in the construction or engineering sectors.
This is a hands-on operational role and is well suited to both an experienced CEO or a COO who is looking to take the next step in their career. Our current head office is in Perth, and some travel is expected with a co-located team, however this role can be based anywhere in Australia.
Key Responsibilities : Strategic Leadership: Set and align the company's overall vision and strategy across all departments. Serve as the face of the company in the market and support efforts to secure funding rounds and attract investment for growth. Operational Management: Oversee all business functions including sales, marketing, finance, product development, and customer success. Financial Management: Manage the company's financial performance, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure sustainable growth. Team Leadership: Build and maintain a strong, global leadership team and foster a positive, results-oriented company culture. Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with investors, board members, industry contacts, partners, and customers. Growth and Innovation: Drive business growth, product innovation, and market expansion. Align technology and product development with business goals to drive growth. Qualifications : Leadership experience in a growth-focused SaaS technology environment, with experience in construction, civil engineering, or related industries highly regarded. Deep knowledge of SaaS, cloud business models, and market trends. Proven experience in scaling start-ups. Strong communication and leadership skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and team development. Cross-border management experience is advantageous. Core Competencies : Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong track record of growing SaaS businesses. Expertise in navigating the commercial construction or civil engineering sectors. Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and foster a collaborative, innovative work environment. Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology and business for market impact.
