Requirements Here's what you'll be doing:
Conduct real-time monitoring of security alerts and incidents to ensure swift identification and resolution of potential threats.
Perform vulnerability assessments to evaluate the strength of our network defences and propose appropriate remediation plans.
Analyse security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with the IT team to configure and fine-tune security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-malware software.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on security procedures, guidelines, and incident response plans.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance our security posture.
Conduct security awareness training sessions for team members to foster a security-conscious culture.
Conduct regular security meetings with CT partners on a monthly basis.
Here's what you'll bring:
Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus software, cloud technologies, and endpoint protection.
Knowledge of network protocols, security architectures, and information security frameworks.
Ideally experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and remediation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and respond quickly to security incidents.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications are beneficial (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)) would be an advantage.
