Established for more than 80 years, with 100+ staff members, they have a focus on professional development and career progression and boast many 10-20+ year tenures.
The Role Sitting under Partner, you will have a strong social conscience and sound workplace ethics. The successful candidate will work closely with the Partners and have strong managerial experience with an ongoing appetite to be hands on and work with not-for-profit clients with the portfolio split 75% NFP, 25% financial services.
The ideal candidate is someone looking to progress to a Partner in the coming years with a clear road map outlined on how to get there! With no Directors in the firm, this role is the most Senior Audit Manager with the next step Partner.
Day to day: Managing an audit portfolio in excess of $1.2m Responsible for delivering high level work for review 65% hands on Auditing and 35% Leadership (encompassing reviewing, delegating and mentoring) Assist in the presentation of findings and discuss issues with Audit Committee Assisting in the due diligence process (as required) Responsible for the development of business and leveraging current relationships to generate more work Identify areas requiring improvement in the clients' business processes and possible recommendations and prepare and deliver these to clients About You Minimum 5 years of local Australian experience in external audit Strong knowledge of AASBs and ASAs Experience managing a team NFP experience (desirable) Benefits Work-life balance with only one busy season a year!
