Position Overview
Lycopodium is currently recruiting for an experienced CAD Administrator to join our Perth based CAD support team.
Key Responsibilities
Providing CAD support (predominately for Bentley products) in multi-discipline engineering and drafting fields, for the Company's Perth, international and site offices. Attending to CAD support requests logged into a helpdesk system, including: General CAD administration (Initial contact) In-depth technical support (Troubleshooting) Expert Support (Software development) Outside support (dealing with software vendors) Build and deploy CAD machines. Minimum Requirements
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable role and will possess the following skills and attributes:
Solid Knowledge of drafting principles in 2D and 3D CAD systems. Previous experience in a CAD support role. Experience with the administration of the Bentley suite of products among others, OpenBuildings designer CE, ProjectWise, Openplant Modeler CE, Openplant Isometrics Manager CE, OpenPant P&ID CE, etc. Solid understanding of Bentley product workspaces, ProjectWise integration and managed workspaces. MicroStation VBA. Sound knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office. Experience with ProjectWise integration into MS products. Good time management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to prioritize tasks to minimize project team downtime. Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills. Experience with the Autodesk suite of products (desirable). Company Culture
