Role Description The Business Development Manager requires you to drive your team to deliver outstanding resourcing solutions to a range of clients and candidates. These solutions will be provided to both existing clients and new businesses through the recognition & delivery of new opportunities by making excellent business interconnections.
You will have the loyalty and respect of candidates and clients as well as excellent communication, resource (and time) management, self-management (including resilience), problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
You are expected to deliver your work autonomously only requesting supervision when necessary and will be able to coach and lead any subordinates. The business will also benefit from your ability to identify opportunities that others may not and champion change when required.
Principle Accountabilities: Plan and direct the delivery team to achieve agreed targets and standards for performance, quality, culture, and legislative compliance. Provide innovative and unique solutions to recruiting in a highly competitive oil and gas industry. Deliver a range of contract recruitment offerings and tailored solutions to Airswift's key global, regional, and new business clients. Lead by example displaying a hard work ethic and understanding of many aspects of the business. Recruitment activities include working on active requirements involving the search and selection of suitable candidates, liaison with clients, and negotiation of rates and salaries. Deliver global, regional, and new business recruitment plans to drive recruitment forward and create new opportunities in a challenging market. Manage the direct performance of each member of the delivery team through an agreed performance management scheme. Mentor and coach new members of the team. Collate reports to give up to date assessment of recruitment activity and pipeline to the Regional & Country Manager. Manage development programmes and perform regular appraisals. Analyse performance to improve and streamline processes to increase return on investment. Align with KPIs to determine overall success and effectiveness. Set and review KPIs of individual/team and ensure targets are met. Recruit, select, and develop delivery team members. Help increase client penetration to maximize revenue potential. Work closely with the Diversification Manager to help achieve the company's diversification strategy. Ensure Bullhorn is up to date for all recruitment teams including statistics & figures. Ensure every placement has 2 reference names against every placement – bonus will not be paid without. Lead and delegate for all bid CV collation. Daily/Weekly discussions with counterpart Lead/Principal Consultants. Liaising with Country Directors/Business Development Directors for Monthly Forecast/Pipeline. Responsible for data requested by central HQ. Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Experience in planning and directing delivery teams to achieve targets and standards. Ability to provide innovative solutions in a competitive oil and gas industry. Experience in delivering contract recruitment offerings and tailored solutions. Strong work ethic and understanding of business aspects. Experience in recruitment activities including search and selection, client liaison, and negotiation. Ability to deliver recruitment plans and create new opportunities. Experience managing team performance through performance management schemes. Ability to mentor and coach team members. Experience in collating recruitment activity reports. Ability to manage development programmes and conduct appraisals. Experience in performance analysis to improve processes. Ability to align with KPIs and ensure targets are met. Experience in recruiting, selecting, and developing team members. Ability to increase client penetration for revenue maximization. Collaboration with Diversification Manager for strategy achievement. Experience in maintaining recruitment systems and data accuracy. What we can offer you!
