General / Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management)

With the expansion of our operations, we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join our team.

ABOUT THE ROLE :
Management of preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports including regulatory compliance for the business group.
Manage capital structure, including debt, equity, and other financial arrangements.
Review, critically analyse and broadcast appropriately the performance and position of the business.
Oversee cash flow planning, investments, and asset management.
Optimise financial systems, processes, and controls for efficiency and accuracy.
Liaise with third party stakeholders.
Management of commercial risk within the business group including review of agreements, review of job budgets, organising appropriate insurance solutions.
Formulation and monitoring of Budgets and Financial Modelling to align with the organisations goals and to assist in strategic business decisions.
Management of Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and team members.
ABOUT YOU :
To be successful with TCD, the ideal candidate will have :
10+ years progressive accounting and leadership experience; Civil Construction industry experience - advantageous but not essential; Professional Accounting Body Qualification and Membership – CPA / CAANZ; Bachelor of Commerce University Degree; Attention to detail and high ethical standards; Strong knowledge of financial laws, regulations, and best practices; Advanced level in Microsoft office software; Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills; Strong interpersonal skills; Excellent organisational and communication skills.
