Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to deliver Project Management services and outcomes aligned with our strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering multiple projects concurrently within a structured project delivery methodology.
This role will initially be for a minimum of 6 – 12 months on a full-time basis, with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability of work.
The Senior Project Manager will oversee the migration and redevelopment of system integrations within a critical deadline.
The program will involve multiple projects addressing key system integrations across various business areas, with the potential to include additional project leads/managers to support the work.
The role will report to the Program Director and will be accountable for delivering the defined scope of work on time, on budget, and within agreed quality standards.
The Senior Project Manager will lead and coordinate with external vendors on the development of migration work items and manage significant interdependencies with other technology programs to optimise project budgets, reduce rework, and meet critical deadlines.
Qualifications
Extensive project management experience, including in a senior project manager role.
Demonstrated strong experience leading projects in highly complex environments with numerous interdependencies.
Proven ability to lead and coach project managers and scrum masters in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience working with vendors and partners, including delivery resources.
Experience leading integration projects on platforms such as BizTalk and/or MuleSoft.
Experience leading an integration migration program.
Experience in industries such as utilities, government, or other highly regulated sectors (e.g., banking, mining).
Formal qualifications in Project Management, PMBOK, or Prince 2 Accreditation are desirable.
