About the opportunity We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Outreach Coordinator to join the Domestic Recruitment and Access team. In this role, you will develop and deliver outreach programs that increase young women's aspirations to pursue STEM studies, with a particular focus on students from Western Sydney.
Reporting to the Outreach and Access Manager, you will collaborate across faculties and schools to design impactful engagement strategies, build relationships with target high schools, and lead initiatives that support the University of Sydney's student profile targets.
Your key responsibilities will be: Developing, implementing, and reviewing outreach programs to inspire high school students into STEM fields Building and maintaining strong relationships with schools and community partners Facilitating workshops and engagement activities that align with University goals Evaluating program performance and identifying opportunities for improvement This role provides the opportunity to make a real difference in shaping the future of STEM education while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
About you Proven experience in developing and implementing recruitment or outreach strategies Strong understanding of STEM education, particularly in high school contexts Exceptional organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills Ability to build and maintain networks with a wide range of stakeholders Experience in managing resources and delivering successful engagement initiatives Postgraduate degree or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience This role requires a valid NSW driver's license and a willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check clearance.
