About the Role Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our globally recognised brands. You'll oversee all aspects of financial management, from corporate accounting and regulatory reporting to cash flow management and budgeting. This is your chance to drive continuous improvement in internal controls and make a real impact across our businesses.
Your Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and inspire a team of financial experts Manage cash flow and financial reporting, including budgets, accounts payable / receivable, and expenses Prepare company tax, payroll tax, and BAS statements Analyse and interpret financial data to inform strategic decisions Ensure compliance with current accounting standards and regulatory requirements Conduct month-end general ledger reconciliations and process end-of-month journals Oversee payroll, superannuation, and supplier payments About You You're a natural leader with a passion for numbers and a knack for problem-solving. To thrive in this role, you'll need:
CPA or CA qualification Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in tourism, hospitality, or the sports sector Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Excel Exceptional attention to detail and commercial acumen A commitment to meeting deadlines and driving continuous improvement What's in It for You?
