Are dedicated to successfully & strategically engaging with local governments, industry, and the regional communities to support Biosecurity initiatives. Effectively advocate for Biosecurity Queensland's interests, provide advice & counsel to the Minister, Director-General, and Chief Biosecurity Officer on Biosecurity matters. Actively contribute & lead a high-performing regionally dispersed team. Manage, lead & champion high-level Biosecurity initiatives throughout the relevant regions. Establish a stronger ongoing regional presence for Biosecurity Queensland through the establishment of regional hubs. Biosecurity Queensland plays a vital role in securing the state's agricultural prosperity and preserving and protecting the health of our environment and economy. We are dedicated to safeguarding both human and animal health by preventing and mitigating plant and animal pests and diseases. We work tirelessly to uphold a high level of animal welfare standards and maintain access to interstate markets, critical for Queensland's thriving primary industries.
