The Role As an NRMA Sales and Service Consultant, you will become an insurance expert and will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers. The role requires focus on converting sales enquiries and servicing renewing customers through exceptional customer experiences all while working to achieve sales targets / KPI's. Working in a fast-paced call centre, you will experience a structured working environment that requires the ability to be agile and work in high pressure situations.
This role is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) and you will work Monday to Friday with shifts allocated between 8:00am - 8:00pm as your 8-hour shift will range between these hours. For example, your shifts could be: 8.00am – 4.00pm, 12.00pm – 8.00pm etc. It is required that you are able to provide full availability to work within these hours. Rosters will be issued 3-4 weeks in advance.

Key Responsibilities: Responding to high volumes of inbound phone calls from NRMA insurance customers wanting to enquire, purchase, amend or cancel their NRMA Insurance policy. Dealing in Insurance and NRMA Membership Products (Car Insurance, Home Insurance, CTP and NRMA Roadside Assistance). Meeting set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and compliance requirements. These are the skills and experience we are looking for: A resilient and customer-centric individual who is comfortable assisting customers with questions, concerns and complaints. Able to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer literacy with ability to work and navigate complex systems. Ability to work autonomously and be self-reliant. Demonstrate flexibility to work from both your local office and from home. To work from home, you will need to provide a high-speed internet connection and a private home office that meets OH&S requirements. Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve effectively. A Team Player with a positive, flexible attitude and manner. And most importantly – willing to LEARN! We can teach you the skills! You will be required to complete a police check for this role. The role is a 'Hybrid' role where you will be both working from home and in our Wollongong office so you will need to live within a 45 minute radius.
