Key Responsibilities :
Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, & produce CAD models.
Produce structural steel drafts with AutoCAD and Inventor.
Generate structural engineering drafts of plant and site layouts.
Structural detailing of buildings, pipework, walkways, overhead cranes.
Strong focus on continuous improvement and drafting development.
Liaising with clients and sub-contractors if required.
Learn about material estimation and control of bills of materials.
Report and present project analysis within design reviews.
Knowledge of MS Office and ERP / MRP systems would be advantageous.
The Client and You :
Established 50 years ago, a growing manufacturing company requires a Structural / Mechanical Draftsperson to join their Team in South Western Sydney.
This position would suit a multiskilled Designer with at least 5 years' 3D structural and mechanical drafting experience with both AutoCAD and Inventor design experience.

The workload is challenging and will involve drafting and detailing of manufacturing plant layouts and site templates as well as medium to large industrial machinery.
Applicants applying will be tech savvy, have an excellent understanding of different 3D software packages and a passion for continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements :
A TAFE qualification and 10 years' experience within Detailed Design.
5 years design experience with Inventor.
Team player and passionate about 3D design.
A stay in role lengthy contract.
