Project Overview : Australia is an important part of Bechtel's history and future. For more than 70 years, Bechtel has delivered projects in every Australian state and territory across a portfolio spanning mines, minerals processing facilities, LNG installations, refineries, chemical plants, power stations, procurement services, and telecommunications infrastructure.
Job Summary : As Global Mobility Specialist, you will serve as an HR interface and focal point for employees who are relocating on domestic or international assignments. You will assist with assignment documentation, provide policy counselling, and coordinate relocation services with different vendors.
Major Responsibilities : Serve as the primary point of contact for employees who are relocating on international or national assignments. Coordinate service providers for household effects shipments, pre-assignment medicals, immigration, tax services, and destination services. Collect and conduct preliminary review of individual documents required for immigration processing. Prepare corporate documents required for immigration processing. Prepare and explain assignment and employment documents, including offer letters, recitals, and assignment compensation calculations, in accordance with policies and approved assignment conditions. Manage receipt of applicable documents, submittals, and monitoring of processes to gain assignment mobilization clearance. Continuously update mobility management software throughout the assignment process for tracking and status updates as required. Other responsibilities as designated. Education and Experience Requirements : Bachelor Level Degree in Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and 3-5 years relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills : Advanced knowledge of MS applications, e.g., Word, Excel, Teams. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage high volume workload, with focus on data integrity. Good communication and customer service skills. Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.
