Our Hunter Valley based Company is seeking an Estimator / Co-Ordinator for our electrical & HVAC projects on a full-time permanent basis.
Are you an experienced technician looking to get off the tools?
This is predominantly a supervisory role.
EARN Higher than average hourly rate + Super + Car + iPhone / iPad + Uniform Maintained Vehicle, Opportunity For Overtime, On-call Roster & Attractive Bonuses Role Duties include but are not limited to:
Management and delivery of multiple Commercial Electrical & HVAC projects.
Attend site visits to scope and estimate the job.
Forecasting and scheduling projects for successful project completion – dependent on experience, training can be provided.
Establish and maintain relationships with Clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Attend relevant site meetings and site inspections where required.
Present and follow up client pricing and proposals.
Sourcing and ordering materials and equipment to meet project programs.
Compile operating and maintenance manuals.
Provide training & guidance to less experienced Team Members.
Where necessary, provide support to the service team.
You will possess and clearly demonstrate the following attributes:
Ideally experience in managing similar projects.
Ability to engage & lead a team and manage staff with varied disciplines of expertise.
Site management & coordination.
Engineering background would be of major benefit, but not essential.
Ability to read & understand Construction documents (e.g., specifications, drawings & schedules).
Experience in contract reviews and negotiations would be an advantage but not essential as ongoing training and advancement will be provided.
Highly motivated and committed to project delivery.
Trade or Tertiary Qualified.
