The purpose of this role is to support the Case Management teams by providing up-to-date technical guidance on the compensation payment schemes and assisting in their administration. This position operates in a customer-centric environment that focuses on the pro-active management of claims. This will be a full-time, permanent or 12-month contract position based in the Tweed Heads office, with flexibility to work from home. Relocation allowance for eligible candidates.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Identify continuous improvement opportunities and work with the team on solutions to maximise the effectiveness of case management. Ensure claims teams achieve performance and KPA targets as set out as part of the BU performance framework. In conjunction with the Team Leader identify, develop and implement effective strategies to support the achievement of key performance and remuneration measures. ABOUT YOU Strong technical experience in workers' compensation claims. Proven experience coaching & mentoring case managers in the workers compensation industry. Demonstrated understanding and application of relevant NSW Workers compensation laws and the associated regulations. You have previous experience working as a case manager or a technical specialist background. Tertiary studies in Allied Health or Legislation is desirable. WHAT WE OFFER We stand together as equals.
