We are now looking for a Production Supervisor to join our highly skilled team.
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth-running of daily operations in your nominated production area.
You will be accountable for:
Ensuring high quality work is produced and in line with customer specifications Management of a production workforce, schedule, quality and safety Driving development within the team and seeking opportunities for continuous improvement Producing reports for leadership where necessary Conducting meetings including toolbox talks and pre-starts This is a full-time, permanent role, and is based in Torbanlea / Maryborough, QLD.
About You:
1-3 years relevant experience in production leadership (manufacturing) Trade qualification - Ideally Fabrication or Mechanical Engineering trade.
Strong people management / mentoring skills and collaborative approach to work Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels Experience with rollingstock production highly desirable About the Project:
QTMP is the largest investment in new rollingstock in Queensland's history.
It includes the design, build, and maintenance of 65 brand new trains, design and build of manufacturing facilities and depots and a huge boost to local manufacturing and supply chain - a true legacy to be created for Queensland that you can be a part of!
