Exciting Opportunity for an experienced Branch Manager / Business Development Manager – Penrith, NSW
OUR CLIENT Our client is one of the largest independent family-owned Electrical Wholesalers in Australia, with over 94 years of industry experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a dynamic Branch Business Development Manager to oversee the growth and development of the Penrith Branch. This role is key to driving business expansion, improving profitability, and identifying new market opportunities. You will work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to manage and grow business relationships, develop sales strategies, and ensure the branch meets its financial and operational targets.
LOCATION Penrith, New South Wales
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Drive business growth through strategic planning, including forecasting, financial objectives, and business plans Manage sales activities across existing and new customers, ensuring revenue targets are met Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key customers and suppliers Oversee branch operations, including inventory control and project management Lead, mentor, and train the branch team to enhance performance and customer satisfaction Collaborate with the team to prepare quotes, tenders, and sales activities Regularly analyse sales data and customer results using CRM systems to optimise business strategies Set branch pricing and direct quotation activities to ensure competitive positioning Stay informed of local market trends, competition, and industry developments Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Policies and Procedures PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Strong leadership and management skills with a focus on business development Excellent communication and negotiation skills Highly organised with a keen attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively Conflict management and problem-solving skills Supportive and motivating leader MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS A minimum of five years' experience in business development or branch management within the Electrical Wholesale industry Valid driver's license Year 12 or equivalent BENEFITS Attractive salary Company vehicle provided + fuel card Ongoing training and development opportunities Uncapped bonus structure A fun and supportive work environment If you're seeking a long-term, stable opportunity that offers growth, a competitive salary, and professional development, APPLY NOW!
