Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Administrator to join our project team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of contractual agreements with our clients, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions, optimizing project execution, and providing crucial support to the Project Director and other management teams.
Key Responsibilities: Understand and manage the details of contracts with clients, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors, including terms, budgets, quality standards, and timelines. Serve as the go-to expert on contractual matters, providing advice and support to the Project Director and project management team. Identify, assess, and mitigate potential contractual risks to protect BEUMER Group from claims and ensure project success. Develop and implement strategies for contract change management and integration of contractual risks into the project's risk register. Provide timely feedback on contractual deviations and their implications. Prepare and manage change orders, assess their impact, and ensure alignment with project schedules and commercial assessments. Review and assess contract documentation for risks and compliance. Draft and manage notices and correspondence related to contract deviations and impacts on project scope, time, and cost. Maintain effective communication with customers and suppliers regarding contractual obligations and deviations. Ensure all formal external communications align with contractual strategies and do not pose risks to BEUMER Group. Collaborate closely with internal departments including Project Management, Commercial Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain Management. Ensure contractual awareness and adherence across the project team. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (minimum requirement). Master's Degree (preferred). 7+ years in contract management for industrial or EPC projects. Experience in construction projects, baggage handling systems, or contract law is desired. Proven experience with FIDIC Yellow Book-based contracts and/or AS4910 contracts is advantageous. Additional Information: Certification in contract management is advantageous. Strong background in engineering or construction management. Extensive experience managing contracts with clients and subcontractors. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
