We are seeking a Weighbridge Administrator to join the team at our new Smeaton Grange Recycling site on a 12-month contract to cover parental leave.
The Weighbridge Administrator is responsible for the daily administration tasks for the weighbridge, providing excellent customer service via both phone and face-to-face to all customers, weighing trucks in & out of site, and producing weighbridge dockets for customers, preparation and reconciliation of accounts payable, daily timesheets, and data entry. You will be responsible for ensuring the weighbridge continues to run efficiently to meet production targets.
The hours required for this role are 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday and 6am to 2pm every second Saturday.
Role Responsibilities : Daily intercompany balancing of incoming & outgoing products with other Benedict sites.Daily timesheets in absence of site manager.All ordering for the site as directed by the Site Manager.Preparation & reconciliation of accounts payable.Maintain Contractor Register.Maintain & manage the incoming material classification register.Administration support including daily opening and distribution of mail.Weigh trucks in & out of site & produce weighbridge dockets for customers.Weighbridge traffic control.Maintaining the purchase order register for the site.Reconciliation of petty cash.Balancing the fuel usage for the site and ordering fuel.Conduct all tasks in a safe manner.Report any hazards and ensure correct PPE is always worn.Follow all relevant safety policies and procedures.We will provide you with great perks, including : Access to Employee Benefits SchemeOnsite ParkingPotential Study Assistance & TraineeshipsNote : We promote a safe work culture; therefore, we have a process of reference checking and pre-employment medicals, including a drug and alcohol screen for the successful applicant.
