About the Opportunity This role represents a rare opportunity to work on the pioneering Sub Sustainment Nuclear (SSN) AUKUS Build Program, delivering an essential sovereign capability for Australia. The Senior Business Analyst will work within the Business Enablement department to support the delivery of long-term, effective, and sustainable whole-of-system improvement (technology, process, and people) of ASC's capability.
Responsibilities Work in collaboration with teams to drive strategic initiatives from discovery through to implementation. Facilitate initiatives by providing leadership and support to business analysts and staff. Hold workshops with senior stakeholders to understand and gather requirements, documenting business cases. Provide gap analysis and identification, proposing refinements and improvements, automating processes where possible. Produce and manage project control plans, including scope, financial position, and resource requirements. Schedule and run standups, project groups, and ensure appropriate governance checkpoints and audit requirements are met. About You Tertiary level qualification in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field, and/or demonstrated relevant experience. Certification and/or experience working in a Hybrid/Agile environment. Demonstrated experience identifying and analysing business requirements and business impacts. Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with experience solving complex business challenges. Experience working with the Microsoft platform and related applications. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to liaise with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to manage projects and user testing. Proficiency in Agile project delivery software (e.g., Jira, Confluence), process automation software (e.g. Microsoft Power Automate, iBPMS, RPA), collaboration platforms (e.g. Microsoft 365), and data visualisation software (e.g. PowerBI). Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
