The Library is seeking to fill an ongoing Power BI Developer (APS 6) role in the Strategy and Architecture Section of the Digital Branch. The role is critical to building interactive visualisation and business intelligence reporting solutions. This role will focus on developing meaningful data visualisation solutions for the Library, including designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and self-service analytics tools to support the Azure cloud-based Library Analytics Platform (LAP) data warehouse.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in hybrid data warehousing environments, encompassing both on-premises and cloud-based platforms. They should possess strong business intelligence, data modelling, DAX scripting, ETL, and technical problem-solving skills, along with good written and communication skills. Additionally, they must be able to articulate complex library information needs into effective, practical, and interactive reporting solutions to meet the Library's organisational requirements.
To be successful in this role you will be self-motivated, able to work under minimal supervision, manage and direct technical resources, and have the experience to communicate with stakeholders at all levels confidently, whilst also collaborating effectively within a team environment to achieve shared goals.
