Are you passionate about infection control and ready to take on a leadership role? We're looking for a dedicated Associate Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Infection Control Service at Hammill House, Port Pirie. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the health and safety of our community through expert infection prevention and control practices.
As the Infection Control Nurse, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our infection control service, including waste management, staff education, quality improvement, and outbreak investigation. You'll also contribute to the safety of both consumers and staff by reviewing incidents and guiding less experienced staff.
What You'll Do: Lead the infection control service, providing consultation and education. Investigate outbreaks and ensure compliance with infection prevention standards. Review Safety Learning System incidents related to IPC breaches. Provide nursing services and support the development of less experienced staff. What We're Looking For: Postgraduate qualifications in infection control (or willingness to study further). Registered Nurse with current practicing certificate.
