The role:
Opportunities exist for an Analyst to join our team in Canning Vale.
As a level I Analyst, you will be directly responsible for conducting routine sample preparation and food testing.
You will also conduct a wide range of tests using manual, semi-automated, and fully automated techniques.
If the test is automated you may be required to analyse data and report results.

Your day to day will include but is not limited to:
Receiving, registration, weighing and sample preparation Managing several tests/tasks at once and coordinating with other personnel Operating analytical equipment requiring decisions to be made based on technical knowledge Assisting with clients' courier booking for sample pick up Communicating sample requirements to other personnel Choosing and optimising procedures and equipment settings to suit sample/test requirements What's needed?

To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following:
Ability to work autonomously Ability to perform complex tasks Diploma or Degree in Science or a related discipline Hands-on experience in a laboratory environment Ability to prioritise work in order to meet daily deadlines Clear written and verbal communication skills Demonstrable knowledge of OHS requirements within a laboratory Capacity to work effectively as part of a team Safety is an absolute.
Ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing and the ability to meet site inductions will be a requirement of working on site.
