Our client is a leader in IT solutions providing a range of services to the public and private sector. Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the team at their stunning Sydney CBD offices. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the finance manager during a critical period.
Key responsibilities:
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, journals, and reporting.
Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and payment.
Provide insight on financial performance.
Coordinate with the broader finance team and other departments to deliver monthly results.
Preparation of monthly performance reports.
Assist with periodic budgeting and forecasting processes.
Participate in process improvement and drive continuous improvement.
Ad-hoc projects as and when required.
Skills & Qualifications:
CA or CPA is essential.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role.
Preference will be given to those candidates with large ERP systems experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of attention to detail.
Collaborative, motivated, and enthusiastic.
