Position School Bursar – Wahroonga Adventist School

Role Description Wahroonga Adventist School is seeking a motivated School Bursar to join our team of passionate staff who are focused on inspiring students to be successful in school and beyond. This position is three days per week, commencing 13 January 2025.
Location Wahroonga Adventist School, Wahroonga NSW
Application Requirements The successful applicant will hold a certificate in business or accounting or have the relevant bursar experience and a passion to work in a growing school. They will also be required to provide a current WWCC.

Key Personal Attributes Support the ethos and mission of the school within the context of Adventist Education Have a sound understanding of accounting principles and practice Be familiar with the accounting processes associated with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports Be computer literate and possess experience in the use of relevant computer-based accounting package(s) Have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software and be a proficient user of Excel Only those with a legal right to work in Australia may apply, and the appointing body reserves the right to fill this position at its discretion and to close applications early.
