Job Description
Closer to home, and conveniently located in beautiful Newcastle on NSW's coast, the Mercure Newcastle is looking for a Part Time Hotel All-Rounder to join the team.
Only 2 hours from Sydney but classified as "regional" for some visa requirements, a sea change may be just what you are looking for.

What will you be doing?

Deliver service excellence, from check in to check out and everywhere in between Often be the first point of contact for guests and visitors Shifts in Food & Beverage & Front Desk Complete a wide variety of hotel tasks, ensuring that every day is different from selling the hotel's facilities to taking reservations in the restaurant, delivering food and maintaining guest accounts Provide passionate, knowledgeable and friendly service to external and internal guests at all times Ensure guests who are not ALL - Accor Live Limitless members are briefed on features and benefits and signed up to the loyalty program Your Skills and experience include:
Previous customer service experience, preferably in a Hotel environment Strong knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office and preferably in Opera The ability to work under pressure, multitask and think on your feet to quickly resolve issues Strong communication skills and pride in personal presentation A natural ability to surprise guests with your authentic guest service, setting you apart from the rest A genuine customer service focus and a strong dedication to always making our guests smile during their stay Must have valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) or willingness to obtain one before starting What's in it for you
