About Us: Townsville Hospital and Health Service is the public healthcare provider for the government areas of Townsville, Burdekin, Charters Towers, Flinders, Richmond, Hinchinbrook and Palm Island; operating 21 facilities from primary care in regional locations to highly specialised care at the main hospital.
Cleveland Youth Detention Medical Centre is part of the Women's and Children's Service Group and provides primary medical care management including screening, assessment, treatment and referral to secondary and tertiary services for ongoing care for children, adolescents and young people.

Generous Remuneration Package: Salary range of $2878.20 to $3958.00 p.f. (HWF3) Annual leave with 17.5% loading. 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation. Diploma of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (for specific paypoints). Genuine occupational requirement to be indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community. Possession of class C drivers' licence. This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis. Probation period may apply. Pre-employment checks including Criminal History Clearance and Blue Card.
