Full-time Civil Engineering Draftsperson Position

Role: We are currently seeking to hire a qualified CIVIL ENGINEERING DRAFTSPERSON to work on a full-time basis and join our team of professionals immediately. This opportunity is a full-time position (Minimum 38 hours per week).
Responsibilities: Prepare technical drawings, in alignment with project specifications. Create sketches, charts, tabulations, plans, and designs. Modify and update drawings based on client input and project requirements. Contribute to the creation of project documentation, such as specifications, reports, and technical guides. Ensure all drafts are completed with high attention to detail, quality, and accuracy, adhering to internal and external quality control processes. Order materials as required and ensure project specifications and regulations are met. Conduct site inspections when needed to collect data and verify the accuracy of designs. Coordinate with construction, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure smooth execution of projects. Qualifications: A Diploma or Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline. Proficiency in CAD. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Draftsperson in the civil or construction sector. In-depth understanding of Australian building codes and standards. Strong command of written and spoken English. Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers, clients, and project teams. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000K- $90,000K per year plus superannuation for a Minimum 38-hour per week.
