About the Opportunity Working closely with the Lifestyle team, the Bus Driver is responsible for providing driving services and ensuring safe and comfortable transport of Residents to a range of local areas.
Your day will involve driving the bus, helping residents of differing abilities on and off the bus, ensuring proper record keeping and logs for the bus, and cleaning the bus as required.
We are looking for someone who is a good problem solver, uses initiative, and demonstrates good presentation and customer service at all times.
About You The ideal candidate must demonstrate the following:
Drivers Licence (LR or HR)Experience driving a bus is essentialExperience in aged care or community work is preferableSafe driving recordImmunisation Record - COVID mandatoryAvailability and reliability to commit to required shiftsAbility to communicate effectively with residents, families, and all levels of staffStrong passion for working with the elderlyThe successful applicant must complete a National Police Check, provide proof of COVID-19 Vaccination, and may be required to undertake a NDIS check.
