The Opportunity We are seeking a responsible School Bus Driver to provide a safe driving service for our school community in a school-owned coach. We are looking for a friendly, patient, and understanding person to join our team to support school transport.
Shift Options: Option 1: Full-time shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (12-hour shift). During non-driving hours, the person will assist with excursions, perform facility maintenance such as mowing, handyman work, or support other maintenance duties. Option 2: Part-time shift from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM (6.5-hour shift). There is potential for additional hours in between if required for any excursions, sports, or other events. Selection Criteria: Driver Authorisation (DA) required HR licence required Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Good communication skills A good clean driving history Ability to be flexible, predominantly M-F work, however, some weekend or evening work may be required from time to time Sound knowledge of the surrounding suburbs Bus and Coach driving experience Willingness to assist with other duties as required Some computer literacy ideal Be fully supportive of the Islamic ethos, values, and practices of the College Benefits: Access to the Staff Wellbeing and Support Hub Ongoing training and mentorship Active day-to-day support About the College: The Islamic College of Brisbane (ICB) is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational, independent growing school, located on the southern outskirts of Brisbane in the suburb of Karawatha located in the South East Queensland region.
