ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced 'Shuttle Bus Driver' who will also provide support across our Brisbane properties as a handy-person.
As the Shuttle Bus Driver, you will operate the Scape branded shuttle with primary responsibility for the secure and safe transportation of all passengers, predominantly students. You will act as a tour guide on day trips in the Greater Brisbane area, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast.
This is a casual position - 25 hours per week.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We are looking for a highly motivated Shuttle Bus Driver who has high attention to detail, enjoys problem solving, and exceeding people's expectations.
You will have the ability to work with and relate to young adults from diverse cultural backgrounds while maintaining professional boundaries.
Have held an Australian LR class license and hold or obtain a current Restricted Driver Authorisation (courtesy transport) from Queensland Transport.Some prior handy-person experience is advantageous.European or Asian language/s (desirable).Immaculate personal presentation.Ability to prioritise and multitask.An outgoing and confident personality.Excellent knowledge of the Brisbane road system and south east QLD area including tourist attractions and national parks.Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card).You must be willing to undertake a National Police Check.Assist residents with luggage as required.Maintain the bus including cleaning and arranging regular servicing.Assist residents with concierge services as required.THE FINE PRINT At Scape we honour and welcome our rich heritage and contributions of First Nations and Indigenous peoples.
