We are looking for a reliable and experienced Coach/Bus Driver to join our team at Dugald River Camp in beautiful north-west Queensland. In this essential role, you will be responsible for transporting personnel around the mine site safely and efficiently.
This is a permanent Full-Time opportunity working a 2 weeks on/1 week off roster, either DIDO from local and surrounding areas or FIFO from Brisbane or Townville.
The Position:

Delivering excellent customer service – ensuring a friendly and welcoming environment is offered to residents
Safely transport personnel around the mine site and transfers between site and Mt Isa or Cloncurry Airports
Ensure vehicles are well maintained and cleaned regularly
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
Maintain accurate records of trips and passenger numbers
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
Passenger Transport Drivers Authorization essential
Ability and flexibility to work in any department during non-driving time – including housekeeping/cleaning assistance, catering/dining support, general village support services
Compliance with strict site driving accreditation requirements and fatigue management policies
Positive and team oriented attitude to work

Minimum Criteria:

Previous Bus Driving experience essential
Australian HR/ MR driver's licence essential with QLD Drivers Authorisation
A proactive and solutions-focused approach to ensure dining operations run smoothly
Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a remote setting and dynamic environment
Physically fit with the ability to successfully pass pre-employment medical requirements
