We are seeking an organised, customer-focused Administration Officer to join our team at Burra Hospitals.
This vital role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a difference to both our patients and the broader community.
Key Responsibilities: Providing efficient and professional administrative and reception services.
Responding to customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
Maintaining accurate medical records and patient files, including data entry into the Chiron database.
Ensuring compliance with State Records and Medical Records standards.
Assisting with medical record archiving and stock management.
Contributing to the development of a positive work culture based on SA Health's values of customer service, learning, safety, and innovation.
Prioritising your workload and supporting your team members as needed, while maintaining a high standard of work.
This role requires flexibility in working hours, including participation in a 7-day roster, with the opportunity to work across both hospital sites in Burra and Snowtown.
About You We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and thrives in a dynamic work environment.
You should be a strong communicator with a positive attitude, and have a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
You'll be comfortable working independently while also being an active and supportive team player.
Experience in administrative support, particularly in a healthcare setting, will be highly valued.
To succeed in this role, you'll need: Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and non-verbal).
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and work with minimal supervision.
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
