This leading workplace team within the QLD gov't are highly regarded for the outstanding delivery of legal services. You will work in an intellectually stimulating and challenging environment while working alongside leading lawyers who will help you hone your skills and develop your career. This is a contract for 12 months with the possibility of extension or being made permanent for the right fit.
What you will do
You will work on a range of diverse and challenging employment law matters such as advice work and litigation, discrimination, and health and safety.
Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will be an employment lawyer with at least 4+ years of PAE and have a sound understanding of QLD public sector employment law and the IR system. In addition, you will have experience gained in the private practice environment; have strong technical and communication skills; be a team player and client-focused.
