About the role
As a Senior Procurement Specialist, reporting to the Procurement Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading a range of procurement activities, predominately in the categories of both Supply Chain and Technology.
You will work with the business to manage end-to-end tender processes, ensuring adherence to organisational policies and fostering strong relationships with both suppliers and stakeholders.
What's involved
End-to-end tender management; scope and draft documentation utilizing procurement templates, facilitate workshops, and prepare and execute recommendations for awarding contracts and contract approval forms. Negotiate Best and Final Offer (BAFO) and Contract Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) with suppliers and establish new contracts using Bunnings preferred templates to cover uncontracted spend. Work in close coordination with the legal team to ensure all contracts adhere to relevant legal standards. Contract documentation management to ensure all documents are recorded and records are current and accurate. Ensure compliance with cyber security, ethical sourcing, sustainability, legal, and financial requirements. Build relationships with the Supply Chain and Technology teams and actively engage in meetings where procurement activities are being undertaken. Who we're looking for
You will bring demonstrated experience across procurement and sourcing with exposure across both Supply Chain and Technology. Your strong negotiation skills will ensure you are able to effectively negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms and best value for the business.
Your well-developed communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be an analytical thinker, who is able to analyse data to make informed recommendations to the business to achieve positive outcomes.
You'll need
Strong experience in procurement, particularly within the supply chain and technology categories, with a proven track record in managing complex tenders and negotiating contracts through to execution. Degree in Business, Procurement, or Supply Chain related field. In-depth knowledge of procurement policies, ethical sourcing, sustainability practices, and compliance requirements. A collaborative approach to work with a variety of stakeholders and build trusted relationships with our technology and supply chain teams. We're here to support you.
