About the role:
As the Demand Planner, you'll be the strategic orchestrator of our inventory, ensuring we have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time.
Your expertise in crafting accurate demand forecasts, powered by insightful business intelligence and analytics, will satisfy customer needs and drive our success.
With your experience in similar roles, strong grasp of market trends, and solution-oriented approach, you'll be pivotal in meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
We have two 12 month fixed term opportunities for experienced Demand Planners to complement our Merchandise team, these roles are based at the Bunnings Support Office, Burnley Victoria.
What's Involved:
Ensure strong inventory management through sound analysis, resulting in accurate forecasts for FIS and FOB lines.
Manage forecasts, continually reviewing and identifying trends.
Ensure the department strategy is executed in accordance with overall business strategy.
Understand store network requirements & continuously work to understand the relevant systems, policies and procedures in store and in support office.
Prepare information for review and discussion, maintaining appropriate reporting to measure performance.
Provide feedback and recommendations to stakeholders.
Who we're looking for:
To be successful in this role, you will have experience forecasting sales and analysing trends with the ability to clearly communicate and articulate analysis performed to all areas internal to the business as well as external to suppliers.
You'll need:
Advanced skills in Excel and skilled in data analytics.
Proven experience working in a similar demand planning or inventory role.
Demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders to drive portfolio performance.
Understanding of customer trends & expectations with the ability to provide solutions.
Ability to build relationships & trust with stakeholders.
Strong financial acumen partnered with ability to analyse data and produce relevant, accurate and timely information to stakeholders and decision makers.
Have strong problem solving and time management skills.
