About the Role We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic Junior Accountant!

This is an exciting opportunity for a developing Junior Accountant to support the Chief Financial Officer with the smooth running of our internal finance function.

Recording and classifying financial transactions Bank reconciliations Credit card reconciliations and ensuring all transactions have support Maintaining and organising financial records and documents for all transactions Maintenance of Accounts Email inbox; responding to financial inquiries from clients, vendors and team members Accounts Payable, including preparation of ABA files for payments Accounts Receivable including reconciliation of client sales summary Monitoring cash flow and cash flow projections Payroll - including preparation of ABA files for payments Maintaining and reconciling Bunjie team member leave calendar End of Month payroll summary Payroll tax filings for relevant states Superannuation reconciliation and payment Review and process expense reimbursements Workcover filing and reconciliation Actual to budget reporting Maintaining / reviewing General Ledger account Manage Fixed Assets records and depreciation schedules BAS / IAS reconciliations Partnering with our external accountants, you'll also work on:
Tax compliance including IAS, BAS, payroll tax, FBT and assisting our external accountant with End of Year financials and income tax return It's anticipated this role will grow and evolve over time to complement the growing experience of the team member.
About You You'll be a self-starter with at least two years' experience in a similar role – ideally within a consumer business. A multi-tasker with a can-do mindset to handle the day to day and navigate the unexpected.
You'll also have:
