Your Next Job as Our Management Accountant We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance team, based at our Richmond Head Office , just a three-minute walk from the station. This permanent, full-time role offers hybrid working options , giving you flexibility while keeping you connected with a passionate, high-performing team.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will work with the Finance team (including 1 seasonal direct report) and manage critical aspects of our financial operations, ensuring the accurate reporting of financial performance, maintaining financial records, and overseeing key financial processes that keep our business running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities Manage profit and loss, wages, and operational reporting on a weekly and monthly basis Maintain the accuracy and integrity of profit and loss and balance sheet records Lead, mentor, and manage direct report, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment Maintain and update the fixed asset register for the business Assist with budget preparation, review, and financial forecasting Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, and suppliers What You'll Need to Succeed We're not looking for just anyone for this job, we're looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage teams and processes while maintaining high standards of financial accuracy. You'll need to bring the following with you to succeed:
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field CA or CPA qualification Proven experience in management accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes Expertise in maintaining accounting systems, general ledger integrity, and budget preparation Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to delegate tasks, mentor team members, and manage performance Excellent attention to detail and a thorough approach to financial management Clear and confident communication, with the ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders Team player, focused, diligent, transparent, reliable, and results-driven Working for BSL is more than just a corporate role — it's a chance to be part of a passionate team in a unique, fun, and rewarding environment.
