About the role UGL Major Projects division is seeking an experienced Building Services Engineer to join the team in Melbourne and be part of mission critical and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities: Assist the Services team in managing design, install process, commissioning, completion and handover of multidiscipline services. Provide accurate document control and management. Oversee the timely delivery and QA of Mechanical/HVAC, Electrical, Fire, Hydraulics, BMS and Security services packages. Provide detailed input for services throughout the tender process. Manage, plan and coordinate all site services activities on our mission critical and infrastructure projects. Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, client and internal stakeholders. Manage site specific testing and commissioning programs and procedures. Maintain relevant knowledge of current and emerging industry trends and advancements in technology. About You: 3+ years' experience within Services. 4-year degree qualification to Bachelor status in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical engineering. Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks and simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands. Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
