About the Role
As a Building Manager, you'll oversee the maintenance and management of residential properties, ensuring compliance, safety, and exceptional property standards. From supervising contractors to addressing maintenance concerns, you'll play a key role in upholding the organization's commitment to quality housing.
Key Responsibilities Supervision & Maintenance: Oversee contractors and maintenance teams to ensure the building and common areas are kept in excellent condition.Compliance & Safety: Monitor by-law observance, fire safety regulations, and ensure security systems are operational.Property Operations: Manage routine inspections, repairs, and coordinate professional cleaning, pool/spa maintenance, and gardening services.Emergency Response: Coordinate and supervise immediate actions in emergencies to ensure resident safety.Resident Support: Maintain open communication with residents to address concerns while ensuring a harmonious living environment. About You Experience in building or facilities management, ideally in social or community housing.Strong understanding of maintenance, compliance, and safety standards.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to supervise contractors and maintain property records.
