The Role We are currently seeking building inspectors to undertake pre-purchase, progress construction, and defect inspections and reporting. The opportunity also exists to undertake other inspections as required. This role would suit any trade/supervisor, with a current building registration, who is looking to step back from the chaos and is willing to pivot to building inspections. Full training is provided, and you will be strongly supported by management and a large team of experienced inspectors. We work under a contractor arrangement with full or part-time schedules available. About You The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, have high integrity, and possess the following attributes: Current WA Registered Building Practitioner (A Must Have) Minimum 5 years residential and/or commercial building industry experience Current Drivers licence and own suitable vehicle for carrying required equipment. Preferred Computer literate with MS Office and other IT systems Strong attention to detail and well presented Effective written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of Building Codes and Guide to tolerances and standards Current police check and relevant insurances including Professional Indemnity Building or Timber Pest inspection experience, whilst not essential, would be well regarded.
