Aspect Personnel are working with a council in Victoria's North East to recruit an experienced Building Inspector (Limited) to join their team.
This is a temporary contract for up to 12 months depending on the candidate's availability with the possibility of being extended further.
The role will be part-time (3 days per week).
The Building Inspector role will be responsible for completing domestic building and swimming pool inspections.
You will be responsible for: Conducting mandatory inspectionsPreparing detailed and accurate inspection reportsLiaising with internal/external stakeholdersSite visits and site surveysAs the ideal candidate, you will have/be: A Registered Building Inspector (Unlimited or Limited)A tertiary qualification in building surveying or relevant experience/qualificationsA solid understanding of relevant acts, regulations, and standardsExcellent time management and negotiation skillsA current driver's licenseIf you would like to discuss this role in more detail or other opportunities within Local Government, please contact:
