About the role: We are looking for a BIM Drafter to join our Operations Enablement team and develop and maintain BIM models and CAD drawings.
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the associated standards for operational sites, which includes Architecture, HVAC, Electrical, Fire Systems, Control Systems, and Asset Management Systems.
Key responsibilities include: Maintain detailed master sets for all data centre projects.Review new as-built BIM models & CAD drawings, following project handover.Create new as-built BIM models & CAD drawings where necessary.Ensure existing BIM models & CAD drawings are maintained up-to-date.Develop and manage compliance with all documented procedures and systems.Undertake planning, organizing, and works execution to meet agreed deadlines.Provide feedback, suggestions, and solutions for future builds regarding identified design opportunities.Conduct site visits and site validation surveys as required.Collaborate with external consultants.Embrace and model CDC's DNA and Leadership Fundamentals.Provide cultural and operational team leadership.Other duties as directed from time to time.About you: 3+ years' relevant experience in mainstream BIM & CAD programs including Revit and AutoCAD.Experience in architectural quality drawing with a mixture of high visual presentation and accurate engineering drawings.A reasonable understanding of design and construction processes.Ability to work unsupervised and under deadlines.Eye for detail in optimization and resilience in designing in a Data Centre specific environment.Essential: • Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA Security Clearance at Negative Vetting 1 level.
