We are a rapidly growing residential building company that has been specialising in insurance repairs for over 20 years. With a dynamic team of highly skilled individuals and a strong background in construction and administration, we are currently seeking a Building Estimator/Supervisor to join our team.

Our head office is located in Beenleigh, servicing the greater Brisbane area, including the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. We are looking for an experienced, full-time residential building supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will possess:
Hold a QBCC Site Supervisor's licence (or working towards) Recent experience in domestic renovations. Good understanding of NCC, QBCC, and trade compliance. Current driver's licence and good driving history. A positive and friendly "can do" approach to life and work. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Demonstrate energy and a willingness to learn. Extremely reliable and dependable. Well-presented with a keen eye for detail. Must be able to communicate effectively – both written and verbally. Must be willing to obtain a child safety blue card and complete a police history check prior to commencing full-time employment. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.). Most importantly, you must have common sense and good judgement. Safety, customer service, technology, and quality are critical to the role; the right applicant will understand the importance of each and excel in all of them. Work you will undertake in this role includes:
Carrying out property inspections and compiling detailed causation reports. Estimating residential building repairs/renovations. Liaising with home owners, insurance companies, and loss adjusters. Supervising projects/repairs (on and off site). Possible travel to assist in our other regional QLD offices. We deliver emergency services to our customers, and when a job needs doing, regardless of the time of day, we get the job done. You will therefore be on call for the duration of a week, once every 6-8 weeks, for which you will be remunerated on top of your salary.
