Building & Development Assessment CoordinatorWe are seeking a Building & Development Assessment Coordinator to effectively document the planning and dwelling siting requirements associated with the land developments delivered or accepted by our business. This new full-time position will see you:
Perform assessment of building requirements on land parcels in South East QLDProvide detailed analysis for potential development sites and assist with obtaining the relevant local authority planning informationPerform detailed analysis of non-Ausbuild developed allotments to support investment and retail sales in understanding the impacts or risks associated with a dwelling placement/construction.Conduct site assessment of completed subdivisionsAssess the need for referral agency notifications and or, the potential impact on the land/development under assessment.Assist with the co-ordination and placement of allotment services within land developments under assessment.Assist with the research of the subject & neighbouring developments to ensure appropriate disclosure of relevant information to the Land Development team & associated consultants.Document detailed house siting requirements and release completed projects to the Sales Team to provide a clear understanding of the building requirements.Update the relevant part of the Building Essentials document to reflect the subdivision approval conditions for land contract inclusion.Provide updates on status of projects and the forecasting of the required applications.Assist with the preparation of submissions in response to local and state authorities planning amendments relevant to the impact on Ausbuild and the industry.Foster relationships and involvement with the Queensland housing and land developments associations to benefit the industry and Ausbuild.The Person Has an understanding of the National Construction Code, Queensland Development Code and Queensland Planning LegislationAn understanding of QLD planning schemes and residential controls is highly recommendedA minimum 5 years' experience in a fast-paced administration role, within residential construction or private certification officeA strong interest and passion for residential typologies to evolve the options for future homes ownersBasic knowledge with ArcGIS systems and highly computer literate including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & OutlookThe Company We're busy creating thousands of homes for Queenslanders, with over 90 master planned communities delivered over 35 years.
