The role will also have the opportunity to multi-skill over time into other products offered by Solutions IE.The role is key to the generation of a core group of Building Compliance Report products for small through to large residential strata properties. The role will be employed on a casual basis and you will join a team with a great culture which consists of specialists who are drawn from different professions within the Building Industry.About YouThis role is ideal for someone with a trade background looking to transition off the tools or seeking a more flexible working arrangement. Practical and hands-on experience in construction, building maintenance, or on-site workplace health and safety with an ability to read plans would be highly advantageous. Additionally, someone who has worked as an inspector in building, insurance, or a similar field may also be a good fit.To perform this role, the successful candidate will reside in and around the Sunshine Coast. The responsibilities include frequent travel within the Sunshine Coast region, Brisbane and surrounds. The successful candidate will have a current driver's license and their own reliable vehicle which is in good working order and fully registered and insured, and which they are prepared to use in order to perform this role.The successful candidate will have:An understanding of buildings and building maintenance - essential.Ability to read a basic building plan and accurately measure building areas - essential.Experience in identifying hazards on buildings (or sites) and structures.Experience in safety maintenance of buildings/structures.Knowledge of fire safety systems - highly advantageous.Takes pride in their attention to detail and accuracy.Planning and managing their own workload in order to meet deadlines whilst producing quality reports.Experience and proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and the Internet.Professional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.And, desirable but not essential would be:Previous experience as a Building Inspector.Pool Safety Inspector license.Fire Safety Advisor training.To be considered for this role you must have full working rights in Australia and a clean, unrestricted driver's licence.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
